Is it hot in Las Vegas, or is it justBravoCon 2023?
During theVanderpump Rulespanel on Friday, starsTom SandovalandJames Kennedychallenged one another to a shirtless pushup contest onstage as fans and castmates cheered.
When moderatorKaramo Brownturned to the audience for questions, the first person to appear at the microphone was Bravo’s very ownAndy Cohen, who said, “I want to know how DJ James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval got so ripped.”
Kennedy, 31, credited his physique to “Equinox six days a week,” while Sandoval, 40, said he has started going to the gym instead of “smoking and drinking,” which has helped him in more ways than one.
It didn’t take long for Kennedy to challenge Sandoval to a pushup contest to decide who is the most fit between the two of them. Both men took off their shirts and started out strong, even incorporating one-legged pushups.
While they both slowed down towards the end, it was Kennedy who came out as the champion.
The men high-fived, offering a change in attitude since the last time fans saw them at theVanderpump Rulesreunion in May when Kennedyreferred to Sandovalas “a worm with a mustache” afterhis affairwithRachel “Raquel” Leviss.
When asked how his relationship with Sandoval has changed since the last season ofVanderpump Rules —season 11 premieres in January — Kennedy admitted that he found it be “one of the hardest years” to film.

Along with Kennedy and Sandoval,Tom Schwartz,Lala Kent,Lisa Vanderpump,Ariana Madix,Katie Maloney,Scheana Shay,Brock DaviesandAlly Webberalso joined the panel to discuss how things have changed since the season 10 finale, and what fans should expect in the next season.
Each member of the panel described the next season in one word, and the results included “sad”, “hard”, “bewildering”, and “tough”. While things will never go back to normal after “Scandoval,” with Ariana saying, “We’re not gonna be acquaintances or friends, no thanks,” the group is still looking forward to what the 11th season has to offer. As Kennedy says, “I think this season is going to be one of the craziest yet.”
