The 2023 Gotham Awards announced the list of nominees on Tuesday, including nods forRyan Goslingas Ken inBarbie,Rachel McAdamsforAre You There God? It’s Me, Margaret,Jamie FoxxforThey Cloned Tyroneand more.
Other actors nominated for their film performances includeTeyana Taylor(A Thousand and One),Greta Lee (Past Lives),Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor(Origin),Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla),Charles Melton(May December)andJeffrey Wright (American Fiction).
Additionally,Bradley Cooper’sMaestrowill receive the Gotham Cultural Icon & Creator Tribute. Ben Affleck’sAirwill receive the Gotham Visionary Icon & Creator Tribute, andRustin,starring Colman Domingo as activist Bayard Rustin, will receive the Gotham Cultural Icon & Creator Tribute for Social Justice.
Touted as the “first major awards show of the awards season that honors outstanding and groundbreaking voices in storytelling,” the Gotham Awards will be held live Monday, Nov. 27, in New York City at 7 p.m.
