Robert IrwinandRorie Buckeyare making their green carpet debut!
The couple attended the 2023 Earthshot Prize in Singapore which celebrates innovative efforts to combat climate change on Tuesday.
Irwin and Buckey, both 19, appeared to be in great spirits at the ceremony. The conservationist and zookeeper looked smart in a black suit and white shirt, while Buckey wore a floral dress with a silver purse.

During the event, the royal was pictured shaking Irwin’s hand as the pair exchanged welcoming smiles. Prior to the ceremony,Irwin had exclusively revealed to PEOPLEthat Prince William’s impact on environmental issues couldn’t be underestimated.
“It’s hard to put into words just how massive Earthshot is for wildlife conservation, for climate action, for the world," he said. “For Prince William, who has such a great platform, to lend his voice, his resources into creating positive change is such a refreshing, wonderful thing to see. I applaud what he is doing.”
Buckey and Irwin went public with their relationship in July when theyattended the Sydney premiereofMission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Onetogether. In September, Irwin - who is the son of the lateSteve Irwin- alsoshared a carousel postof the couple painting together.
“Love you both so much,” Irwin’s sister,Bindi, commented, while his motherTerriwrote, “❤️Wonderful life adventures!”
In October, Bindi alsoshared a photo of friends and family, which included Buckey. “My brother’s gorgeous girlfriend,@roriebuckey,” she wrote in the caption. “Sweetest soul, beautiful friend, I love her dearly and you’ll usually see Grace just following her around because she adores her.”
Buckey — who is studying physiotherapy at Curtin University in Perth, Australia and is the niece of late actorHeath Ledger— alsoshared a videoof the couple posing in New York City in September.
“R&R take on NYC!! 🌟,” she wrote under a black and white boomerang of the duo, while Irwin commented, “I love you!!! ☺️❤️."
