The oldest child ofKanyeandKim Kardashian West, 5½, gave her 15-month-old sibling a lift on Sunday while the family attended the first birthday party ofKhloé Kardashian‘s daughterTrue. North was wearing an unconventional pair of shoes for the task: Her mom’s high heels.
Dressed to match her little sister in an orange feathered ensemble, North seemed unwilling at first to put Chi down until her mom could be heard insisting on it in a video sheshared to her Instagram Storyon Monday.
“How do you do this in heels? Okay, okay, put your sister down. No no no, I said just … ” said Kim, 38, as North finally obliged and placed Chi on the ground next to her.
“Northie, you gotta change into the shoes,” added theKeeping Up with the Kardashiansstar.

Complete with butterfly decorations, cotton-candy vendors, whimsical balloons and more,True’s party was a gigantic outdoor celebrationwith Kim,Kylie Jenner,Kourtney KardashianandKhadijah Haqqin attendance. “We did not want presents for Miss True. We asked that everybody bring a gift for the Children’s Hospital of L.A.,” the birthday girl’s mom, 34, revealed on her Instagram story, showing off a sign that addressed their charitable request.
Other fun details at the magical bash included a dreamy dessert table, toddler-friendly play equipmentand “unicorns” with colorfulhorns and pink manes that younger guests could ride around the event.
North could be seen wearing her mom’s heels on Kim’s Instagram story ahead of the event, which the reality star narrated, “Peep North’s shoes. She would not walk out of the house without my shoes.”

“You just have to wing it,” she answered when asked the secret to successful child rearing. “My sisters and I are in a group chat,always getting parenting advice.”
“My kids have taught me how to be patient and just what’s importantin life. … andFortnite,” she joked — but in all seriousness, “I want my kids to be kind and to treat everybody the same way.”
