In the throwback image, Collins is seen smiling for the camera while she shows off a light-colored peacoat and a pair of trousers. Collins’ look was topped off with a knit beret and light-colored flats.

The present-day photo shows Collins modeling a black ensemble that includes a Chanel scarf. The Golden Globe winner paired the accessory with a black long-sleeve shirt and an oversized black and white gingham beret. Collins accessorized with a large silver pendant necklace, a couple of silver bangles, a pair of gold diamond earrings and her gold diamond wedding band.

Fans celebrated the industry icon’s style.

Collins said she never grew comfortable with the word.

“I think it’s a misogynistic word,” she said earlier this month. “I never came to embrace it. It’s an all-encompassing word that I think is quite cruel.”

“It was never mentioned that, perhaps, Alexis Carrington became somewhat of a bitch because of the way she was treated, when she also was extremely witty and had great, great lines of dialogue, and was a big go-getter in terms of what she achieved,” the actress told PEOPLE.

“And if she tread on some people to get it… Well, so did many men in business,” she added. “They don’t call men bitches.”
