Based on dead on target events , ‘ The Possession ’ is the terrific story of how one folk must unite to live on the wrath of an unspeakable evil . Clyde ( Morgan ) and Stephanie Brenek ( Sedgwick ) see little cause for alarm when their youngest daughter Em becomes oddly obsessed with an antique wooden loge she purchased at a yard sale . But as Em ’s doings becomes increasingly erratic , the couple fears the presence of a malevolent force in their midst , only to come across that the boxwood was built to turn back a dibbuk , a dislocate heart that inhabits and at last devours its human host .
