After three substantial week in a row , Grimm falters with “ The Big Hunt . ” It ’s not a lapsing to theWesen - o’-the - Week rule , thank good , but it involves three disjoined plotsthat never come close to approaching each other , and all of which could havebeen condense .
badly , I can make this review even quicker than lastweek ’s :
• There ’s a Wesen running around kill men in uniform andscalping them . He is not caught .
• Alexis Denisof asks Adalind about her baby , who is pressinghis brass against her tum . It ’s creepy .
• Monroe declare oneself to Rosalee , and then is forced to order hisparents . His parent come by — at 55 minutes into the sequence — and getsuper - racist because their son is marrying a dissimilar kind of Wesen .
• Nick stops by Monroe ’s house and exacerbates the situation , being a Grimm and all .
Aaaaannnndddd … we ‘ re done . 86 words . It admittedly help mybrevity that this was part one of a two - parter , but I ca n’t help but find we’regoing to watch the next episode and feel like they both could have beencondensed into a really skilful exclusive episode .
I ’m not attempt to be slick — okay , I am , but I did n’t dislikethe episode . But Grimm has been read levels of Buffy - esque timber — not at thatlevel , of course , but on the correct track — this time of year , and now I desire to hold it to a higher criterion .

• Who else knew that Monroe was proposing the moment Rosaleesaid “ that place is so expensive ” ? They did trcik me by save the actualproposal for the clock , though .

• Grimm returnsFebruary 28th , after the Olympics . See you then , if , you know , you could survivethe focus of this cliffhanger .
• I know you conceive it ’s cute , Grimm , when you end the episode with a crazy caption like “ TheF#$k ? ” but it ’s not . Stop it .
