And after some collisions , they intend there was .
4. The Higgs idea got off to a wobbly start
Back in 1964 , Peter Higgs write two scientific papers , each just a duo of page of A4 composition long . One of them was take by the journal Physical Letters and the other was rejected . Another physicist took a gander and suggested a few tweeks . Peter Higgs added a paragraph saying that in certain weather the Higgs plain would give up a mote — and hey presto the Higgs boson was born and the inquiry paper was accepted .
5. Don’t believe the hype
Read lot of account about what the Higgs boson is and you ’ll discover that it ’s the thing that give mickle to everything in the Universe . But it ai n’t . The Higgs field actually just give mass to what ’s have it away as elementary atom — ones that ca n’t be broken down into smaller chunks . But all stuff — the aforementioned you , me , goats , planet — are actually made up of composite particle like electrons : particles made up of several components .
