Drakeis making sure to “Take Care” of his fans.
The Grammy winner took a brief moment during his latest concert to make a life-changing pledge to a concertgoer. While performing at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday night, Drake paused the show to interact with the crowd, and pledged to pay off the mortgage of one fan’s late mother.
In a video shared onX (formerly Twitter), the 37-year-old musician was handed a note from a person in the front row of his concert. After opening it up, Drake asked, “This is it?”
“You said, ‘[Pay] off my mom’s house, rest in peace.’ Your mom passed away? Alright. And you owe… Oh, this is the outstanding balance right here,” he said into his microphone while interacting with the fan. “This is a lot of money right here.”
“But you know what, Imma pay off your momma’s house for you,” Drake promised as the audience cheered.

He later revealed to the crowd that the fan was asking him to donate “160 bands” — or $160,000 — to the cause, but the multimillionaire was already set on his promise.
“Imma pay out of my pocket. That’s gonna come from me. Rest in peace to your momma,” Drake said before flipping the note around and seeing the woman’s name.
“Hold on, wait. Rest in peace to Jennifer Schumer. Rest in peace. I love you.”
Drake’s mortgage promise comes just days after the “Started from the Bottom” rapper promised to give a fan in Buffalo $25,000, after she brought a sign detailing her cancer journey, perWIVB.
He also pledged to donate $100,000 to another fan earlier in the month, after they too brought a sign mentioning thatthey beat cancer. “That’s a true soldier right there,” Drake said. “Y’all better make some motherf—– noise.”
