Critical Role’s Cast Has a Friendly Competition for Voice Roles

Critical Role ’s dialog box at New York Comic Con was full of questions about the popular vane serial — admit its guest stars , recurring villains , andMatt Mercer’suncanny power to bring NPCsback from the dead . Or out of the shadows , whateversuits the storyat any given sentence .

While Mercer ’s announcement about his purpose as Vincent Valentine in Final Fantasy VII had n’t yet pass off at the meter of the panel , the group was candid about how often they launch themselves vie against each other — and sometimes even themselves — for function . Taliesin Jaffe said that when he was younger he realise that he started booking more Job when Liam O’Brien was n’t available . O’Brien reply that “ I once audition for a project that I wo n’t name where they get off me a outspoken reference … that was me . ” He did have to audition , and after several week he booked the purpose . Mercer jumped in and added , “ I had another project audition where the phonation extension was me and I did n’t book it . ”
